Franklin Templeton shores up social infrastructure portfolio

Franklin Templeton has acquired five new assets for its diversified social infrastructure impact platform. The assets span the healthcare, education, housing and civic sectors in Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and Denmark.

Specifically, the new assets include a nursing home in Madrid; special education schools in London and Manchester, U.K.; job centers in Dortmund, Germany, and Barcelona; and a student housing facility in Copenhagen.

The acquisitions were secured with long-term leases and, according to the firm, contribute to a well-diversified portfolio across six European countries and five social infrastructure sectors in the portfolio.
