Francesco Starace, the former CEO and general manager of Enel, has been named partner on EQT Infrastructure’s advisory team.
With a career in the energy sector spanning four decades, Starace brings a wealth of deep experience and expertise in energy and transition-related industries, having served in senior leadership positions, advisory boards, NGOs and public policy.
As CEO of Enel, he was instrumental in driving the company’s efforts to phase out fossil-fueled energy production and invest in digital technologies. Prior to that role, Starace headed Enel Green Power, the group’s renewable power-generation arm, and oversaw the company’s IPO and its listing on the Milan and Madrid Stock Exchanges.
At EQT Infrastructure, Starace will act as a dedicated adviser and will provide senior insight to support investment activity, portfolio companies and strategic initiatives.
“We are honored to welcome Francesco to join EQT Infrastructure as partner,”
