Alistair Hutchings, a former vice president at BlackRock, has become director, investor relations at Harbert Power, part of Harbert Management Corp.
Hutchings leads investor relations at Harbert Power, an institutional middle-market infrastructure strategy with more than $4 billion in regulatory assets under management, according to his LinkedIn page. Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., Harbert Power is focused on North American power generation and energy infrastructure.
Hutchings was previously at BlackRock for more than nine years and served in a variety of roles, gaining end-to-end investment experience in origination, diligence, execution, optimization and realization of renewable-energy assets.
