Foresight Group has invested in Connect Fibre to help accelerate the installation of a full-fiber network across Eastern England.
The rollout is expected to enhance local infrastructure and also accelerate the development of a fast fiber network to support the United Kingdom’s digital ambitions of scaling gigabit-capable broadband to at least 85 percent of U.K. homes by the end of 2025. As of 2021, 28 percent of U.K. premises had access to full-fiber broadband.
Foresight invests across sustainable infrastructure, real assets and SME investing. Since 2019, the firm has partnered with eight businesses based in the East of England.
