Folksam Group invests $287.9 million in European infrastructure

by Released

The Folksam Group is investing SEK 2.7 billion ($288 million) in the Arjun Infrastructure Alliance Europe 3 fund. The fund invests in established infrastructure with stable operations in Western Europe, for example, in energy infrastructure, digital infrastructure, transportation and waste and recycling.

Many of the assets are covered by long-term contracts, or have regulated revenues, which provides stable and predictable cash flows. At the same time, there are opportunities to develop the operations further through, for example, efficiency improvements, upgrades or some expansion.

Arjun works with sustainability goals throughout the investment process, with the goal of both creating and preserving value in the long term, in line with the Folksam Group’s values.

The companies investing are Folksam Liv, Folksam Sak, Folksam Tjänstepension, KPA Pension and the Consumer Cooperation Pension Foundation.
