Fairfax County (Va.) Educational Employees' Supplementary Retirement System has disclosed two commitments to infrastructure funds, according to a Jan. 22 board meeting document.
Fairfax County has committed $15 million to J.P. Morgan Infrastructure Investments Fund (IIF), an open-end infrastructure fund managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management; and $3 million to Grain Communications Opportunity Fund III, a communications infrastructure fund managed by Grain Management.
JPMorgan’s IIF invests in core and core-plus infrastructure assets within three broad sectors, which are distribution/regulated, contracted/power and GDP-sensitive, according to the investment document.
