Etix Everywhere has acquired two data centers in Lille, France, in a deal valued at €56 million ($56.3 million), according to Data Center Dynamics.
The facilities now have 1.8 megawatts of usable capacity, expandable to 2.7 megawatts.
As much as 55 percent of the transaction price is expected to be financed through debt.
“This will offer our customers scalability and a dominant position on Edge DC market in France,” said Louis Blanchot, group CEO of Etix Everywhere. “The two data centers are state-of-the art facilities and among the best peering points in France.”
The deal is expected to close in November.
