The Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) of Texas has committed a total of $150 million to two private infrastructure funds.
Texas ERS committed $75 million each to Teset Infrastructure I, managed by Madrid-based Proa Capital De Inversiones SGEIC, and an undisclosed fund. The pension fund could not be reached to provide more information on the second fund at the time of publication.
Proa Capital is a major Spanish independent private equity firm focused on the middle-market segment. The firm invests in different companies in a variety of sectors.
