Erco Energía, a Colombian integrated renewable-energy company, has closed a $129 million Series C equity investment round aimed at strengthening its capacity to develop and construct energy projects throughout the country.
The round included participation from investors Next Utility Ventures, a private equity fund of the Ventures EPM program managed by Axon Partners Group; a consortium managed by Augment Infrastructure that includes institutional investors Allianz Global Investors, Proparco and Finnfund; Norfund; and Endeavor Catalyst. The investors are contributing capital, institutional backing and experience in financing the energy transition in the region.
This transaction ranks among the largest equity rounds announced by a Colombian company in 2026 and confirms the energy sector's role as one of the most attractive investment opportunities in the country.
