Equitix has formed a 50/50 strategic partnership with the New South Wales Treasury Corp. (TCorp) to jointly fund a project pipeline and grow Equitix’s portfolio of hybrid renewable-energy assets in Spain.
The portfolio, acquired by Equitix in 2024, consists of 200 megawatts of operational assets and assets under construction, along with an additional 150 megawatts in development. TCorp and Equitix are targeting 1.4 gigawatts of generational capacity by 2030 and have exclusivity over a 1-gigawatt pipeline throughout Spain.
