EQT has announced three promotions within its global infrastructure team.
The firm promoted to partner Anna Sundell, based in London; Christoph Balzer, based in Munich; and Ken Wong, based in Sydney.
Sundell joined EQT Partners in 2010. Prior to that, she worked at Nordea Corporate Finance in Stockholm, where she was engaged in M&A and ECM transactions. Before joining Nordea, Sundell worked at HSH Nordbank in Stockholm.
Balzer worked within the Credit Risk Management & Advisory and M&A/Corporate Finance departments at Goldman Sachs before he joined EQT in 2013.
Prior to joining EQT in 2018, Wong was an executive director at Affinity Equity Partners, focusing on private equity investments in the TMT, entertainment, data and digital, and consumer sectors. Prior to Affinity, Wong worked in the investment banking/principal investments team at Macquarie.
