EPIC Y Grade Pipeline has completed construction of the first phase of a natural gas pipeline that could connect southeast New Mexico to the far east region of coastal Texas.
The first product was introduced to the pipeline in March. The pipeline will pump the gas more than 700 miles across Texas to go to market.
EPIC began construction of the 650-mile EPIC NGL Pipeline in December 2017 after signing an agreement with BP Energy Co. The natural gas liquids pipeline linking NGL reserves in the Permian and Eagle Ford to Gulf Coast refiners, petrochemical companies and export markets.
NGL Pipeline is the first of many projects EPIC is developing to drive growth throughout Texas and New Mexico. The initial capacity of the line will be a minimum of 300,000 barrels per day, with plans to build multiple 100,000-barrels-per-day fractionators in the Corpus Christi area. With ROW acquisition and construction already begun alongside its sister project, EPIC Crude, the EPIC NGL Pipeline’s initial phase will be in-service in early 2018 and fully complete in 2019.
EPIC Y Grade Pipeline is a subsidiary of EPIC Y Grade Holdings and EPIC Midstream Holdings.
