enCore Energy CFO takes leave from company

Carrie Mierkey, CFO of U.S. uranium producer enCore Energy, has resigned from her post.

As CFO, Mierkey was responsible for overseeing the consolidation and reporting of more than 20 domestic and international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other financial standards, according to her LinkedIn page. With more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, she also performed due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.

Dennis Stover has agreed to act as interim CFO until a successor is located for Mierkey. A CFO search committee consisting of Paul Goranson, CEO; William Sheriff, executive chairman; and William Harris, audit committee chair, has been formed and is well advanced in the efforts to select a new CFO.
