EnCap Flatrock Midstream, a midstream energy investment manager, has announced the promotions of Matthew Melton to managing director and Ian Morris to vice president.
Melton joined EnCap Flatrock in 2017 and is based in the firm’s Houston office. He serves on the board of directors of several EnCap Flatrock portfolio companies, including Aspen Midstream, Cardinal Midstream Partners IV, Edgewater Midstream, Iron Horse Midstream and Moda Midstream II.
Prior to joining EnCap Flatrock, Melton worked in investment banking at Citigroup in Houston, where he focused on M&A advisory work, as well as public and private capital raises. Prior to Citi, he was a senior analyst in the asset management group at Goldman Sachs.
