Power Capital Renewable Energy, a solar independent power producer in Ireland and a portfolio company of Omnes, has closed a landmark financing facility of up to €323 million ($379 million), led by Eiffel Investment Group.
The initial tranche of €168 million ($197 million) will be used to refinance existing debt facilities from 2023 and 2024, while also providing flexible capital to support the execution of Power Capital’s business plan. The facility, which may be upsized to €323 million ($379 million), is being used to finish the development and build most of Power Capital’s assets.
This holding company financing facility complements a recently announced strategic equity partnership with Infranity and Omnes. The partnership is designed to accelerate Power Capital’s next phase of growth while advancing Ireland’s energy transition.
