The European Investment Fund (EIF) has committed €75 million ($78 million) to Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I to support sustainable infrastructure investments across Europe.
Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I is a closed-end alternative investment fund aiming to raise €800 million ($835 million) for sustainable infrastructure. The fund focuses on investment opportunities in clean, digital and decentralized energy; decarbonized mobility and connected logistics; data-centric, low-latency digital infrastructure; and sustainable, circular and healthy-living solutions.
The fund is managed by FundRock LIS S.A, which pursues infrastructure investment opportunities in next-generation infrastructure. Vesper Infrastructure Partners acts as adviser to FundRock LIS S.A. in respect to the fund, providing advice regarding the acquisition, structuring, financing and disposal of the fund’s assets.
