The Edgemoor Infrastructure and Real Estate team has been selected by the KCI Selection Committee as its preferred partner to privately finance, design, and build a new $1 billion single terminal at Kansas City International Airport.
Led by developer Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, the team also includes equity investor Meridiam Infrastructure, and a design-build joint venture comprised of Clark Construction Group, Kansas City-based contractor Clarkson Construction, and The Weitz Company. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill will serve as the lead architect, and Project Finance Advisory will be the financial advisor.
Edgemoor will bring together key stakeholders, including the City, Aviation Department, airlines, the business community, and residents to validate requirements and preliminary design concepts to ensure the new terminal captures the key elements of convenience, passenger experience, and efficient airline operations.
