Digital Realty debuts its first data center in India — a 100MW campus in Chennai

Digital Realty has launched its first data center in India, capable of supporting up to 100 megawatts of critical IT load capacity.

The facility is located on a 10-acre campus in the heart of Chennai’s industrial and manufacturing hub. The campus was developed by Digital Connexion, a three-way joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries and Digital Realty.

MAA10 is the first phase of the campus and will offer 20 megawatts of IT load. The facility is ready to support emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, offering standardized configurations to meet high-density power requirements (up to 70 kilowatts per rack), suitable cooling infrastructure and interconnectivity demands of AI workloads.
