Netherlands fund manager DIF Capital Partners is planning to expand its offering into infrastructure debt with the launch of a new fund in 2020, according to several media sources.
The firm has yet to set an official fundraising target, sources with knowledge of the matter have revealed. Paul Nash, a partner based in London is believed to have been appointed to lead the strategy, which will focus on junior and senior infrastructure debt.
The firm is concurrently raising capital for two newly-launched infrastructure funds, DIF Infrastructure VI and DIF Core Infrastructure Fund II. The first fund is targeting €2.5 billion ($2.7 billion), and the second fund is looking to raise €1 billion ($1.1 billion), respectively. Both funds have a global investor base.
