DIF Capital Partners closes its latest infra funds with $7.4b of capital raised

DIF Capital Partners announced that it has held final closes for its latest infrastructure funds, after raising €4.4 billion ($4.77 billion) for DIF Infrastructure VII (DIF VII), €1.6 billion ($1.74 billion) for DIF Core-Plus Infrastructure Fund III (CIF III) and €800 million ($868 million) for certain co-investment vehicles.

Both DIF VII and CIF III surpassed their initial fundraising targets of €4 billion ($4.34 billion) and €1.5 billion ($1.63 billion), respectively, and the total commitments for their respective predecessor funds, of €3 billion ($3.26 billion) for DIF VI and €1 billion ($1.09 billion) for CIF II.

DIF VII is investing in infrastructure opportunities, particularly in transportation, renewable-energy, digital-infrastructure and utilities sectors, with an eye toward concession-based or long-term offtake agreements that offer stable and predictable cash flows.
