Deputy CIO of Florida SBA departs

by Elise Mackanych

The Florida State Board of Administration’s (SBA) deputy CIO, Jim Treanor, has left the organization, according to an SBA spokesperson.

Treanor started as deputy CIO in February 2023 after spending more than 11 years as alternatives leader – U.S. and Canada, at Mercer Alternatives. Prior to that, Treanor was a senior investment officer at Florida SBA, according to his LinkedIn page.

The SBA is not currently seeking a replacement for Treanor’s former position.

As of Dec. 31, 2024, the SBA had more than $206.5 billion total assets under management.
