Dataplace has launched a sixth Tier III datacenter in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
Dataplace’s data centers are located in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Arnhem and Brabant, according to the company’s website. At these sites, Dataplace co-locates large and not-so-large IT environments for a variety of different customers.
Spanning 4,500 square meters (48,437 square feet), the facility has been fully operational since May 1. The company said the new data center will allow Dataplace to expand its services in the Amsterdam metropolitan area.
The facility features a 2N solution that is configured for a fully separated A & B power supply, noted Jan Bonke, manager operations of Dataplace.
“This design fully meets the needs and demands that the market currently places on a hypermodern datacenter,” he said.
