CyrusOne builds fourth data center in Frankfurt

CyrusOne, a REIT specializing in data centers, has announced plans to develop its fourth data center facility in Frankfurt, Germany, known as Frankfurt IV.

Upon completion, Frankfurt IV will power 4,800 square meters (51,667 square feet) of technical space within a single four-story building. The data center will follow CyrusOne’s standard design and deploy closed loop chilled-water cooling, dramatically reducing water consumption during the cooling process while maintaining a low power usage efficiency.

The 17-megawatt Frankfurt IV will add to CyrusOne’s existing portfolio of two operational and one shell complete data centers in the Sossenheim district with a combined power capacity of nearly 90 megawatts.
