Aurora Towers, a portfolio company of CVC DIF, has signed agreements to buy American Tower Corp.’s Canadian telecommunications tower business, which includes 255 wireless communication sites across Canada.
The deal would expand Aurora’s tower portfolio from approximately 400 to more than 650 sites across Canada, strengthening its position as one of the country’s largest independent wireless tower platforms.
Aurora Towers was established as an independent Canadian tower platform after CVC DIF acquired SBA Communications’ Canadian wireless tower business in late 2025. Since CVC DIF’s initial investment, Aurora has made significant progress in establishing itself as a standalone organization, strengthening its commercial capabilities through a strong and dedicated management team and further developing its relationships with Canadian wireless operators.
