CVC DIF has plans to acquire a majority stake in EcoEridania, an Italian vertically integrated medical waste platform. The transaction involves the indirect disposal of a 75 percent interest in EcoEridania by an affiliate of iCON Infrastructure, which initially backed EcoEridania eight years ago.
Founded in 1988 in Genoa, EcoEridania is one of the largest diversified industrial waste management operators in the country. EcoEridania provides end-to-end waste collection, transportation, storage, treatment, recovery and disposal services to healthcare institutions and industrial customers nationwide. In 2025, the Group served about 27,000 clients through a nationwide network of 22 treatment and disposal facilities, with around 1,600 vehicles and managed around 1.3 million tons of waste.
