Cube Infrastructure Fund III, a fund managed by Cube Infrastructure Managers, and The Dillinger Group (DG), a German developer, EPC and operator of renewable-energy plants, have achieved the first closing of their newly established joint venture platform, CubIKS.
CubIKS seeks to deploy 1-gigawatt of solar photovoltaic capacity across Germany and Northern Italy throughout the next five years. The platform will focus on building ground-mounted installations, rooftop-mounted systems on commercial and industrial real estate, and carports, with potential hybridization through battery energy storage solutions, with the goal of accelerating the transition to renewable energy and contributing to enhanced energy security.
