Consortium wins bid for Maryland schools’ P3 megaproject

Prince George’s County Education and Community Partners has emerged as the preferred bidder for a social infrastructure megaproject in Maryland, according to InfraPPP.

The Prince George’s County Education and Community Partners consortium, which consists of Fengate Capital Management, Gilbane Development Company, Gilbane Building Company, Stantec, and Honeywell, won the contract to develop five middle schools and an elementary school in Prince George County, Md., under a public-private partnership (P3) model.

Fengate Capital Management, Gilbane Development Co. and Gilbane Building Co. will serve as the design-builder; Stantec, as the architect and design lead; and Honeywell will serve as the lead services provider.

All schools are scheduled to be ready for occupancy by July 2024.
