Complete Technology Group (CTG), a company that was established during the COVID-19 pandemic by four infrastructure experts, has secured a £125 million ($169 million) investment from InfraRed Capital Partners to expand its broadband capability in the United Kingdom.
InfraRed’s investment in CTG’s Complete Fibre division, which was made on behalf of InfraRed Infrastructure Fund V, will enable the company to work with social and private landlords and developers, including local authorities and housing associations.
CTG was formed to improve the fiber-optic connectivity to poorly served communities. The company said it will use the influx of capital to improve the broadband capability of 700,000 homes.
