Commerz Real has agreed to pay €82.5 million ($96.1 million) for three wind farms in southern Sweden with a total installed capacity of 68 megawatts.
The seller was Eolus, one of the largest wind power developers in the Nordics. Under the agreement, Eolus will construct the wind farms and Commerz Real will initially fund the construction via an all-equity investment.
The transaction covers all the shares in the three project companies that hold the project rights for the wind farms: the 24-megawatt Boarp wind farm in the Vaggeryd municipality, the 26-megawatt Dallebo facility in the Ulricehamn municipality, and the 18-megawatt Rosenskog asset in the Falkoping municipality. Commerz Real is expected to assume ownership in fall 2023.
