Commerz Real has launched a new infrastructure fund for private investors focused primarily on the German market. The Infravest European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) gives investors direct, diversified access to infrastructure growth opportunities, geared toward the long-term development of a diversified portfolio in the supply, communication, transport, energy and social sectors.
Commerz Real said the vehicle will cover a wide range of infrastructure segments and key supply fields in the long term, ranging from mobile network development to social infrastructure such as health care facilities and public authorities, to waterworks and power stations. In addition to direct investments, Infravest also can invest in other funds.
Infravest operates under the European legal framework of the ELTIF 2.0 regulation and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
