Cofinimmo has agreed to acquire two nursing and care homes in Belgium for a total of €25 million ($26 million).
The first site, valued at €20 million ($21 million), is located in Grimbergen (Flemish Brabant) and will offer 82 beds for elderly patients in need of advanced care. It will eventually replace two existing nursing and care homes of the Orelia group in Grimbergen (Ascot and Iris, which are not owned by Cofinimmo). The acquisition of the site will take place after construction is completed in first quarter 2023.
The second site, valued at €5 million ($5.3 million), is located in Mont-de-l’Enclus (Hainaut). The acquisition of the nursing and care home at this location took place through a contribution in kind of the shares of a company. The site offers 70 beds for elderly patients requiring advanced care, as well as five assisted-living units for residents requiring light to moderate care.
