Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Arjun Infrastructure Partners have completed a €380 million ($434 million) refinancing of the Monegros wind portfolio, one of Spain’s largest operational onshore wind platforms.
The portfolio consists of 12 operational wind farms located in Aragón, Spain, with a total installed capacity of 487 megawatts. The financing will support the portfolio’s ongoing operation.
CIP is the world’s largest fund manager dedicated to investing in greenfield renewable-energy projects, and Arjun is an infrastructure fund manager focused on European core and core-plus mid-market infrastructure.
Arjun wrote in a LinkedIn post that the transaction was completed on competitive terms and reflects continued lender confidence in high-quality renewable-energy infrastructure.
