CIBC has appointed Tara Patel as director of infrastructure and project finance, based in London.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Patel stepped into her new role this month. No information was disclosed regarding her specific job duties.
Patel formerly worked as the vice president of infrastructure finance at KfW, where she focused on European transportation (predominantly airport acquisitions/corporate financings) and North American P3 financings. She was responsible for both origination and execution of transactions with a typical debt size of between £50 million ($59 million) and £100 million ($119 million).
Prior to that, she served as the manager of leveraged finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland and as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche.
