Chilean company opens new data center in Temuco, Chile

Chilean information technology company Anacondaweb has opened a new data center in the city of Temuco, in southern Chile, which the company says could serve more than 10,000 customers in Chile and beyond.

The data center was built in 2018 with the purpose of solving high demand of energy, energy backup systems, fire control systems, monitoring system and permanent security, according to Data Economy. It also offers continuous support 24 hours a day.

Based in Temuco, the company also operates data centers in Santiago and in Colombia. In 2006, it became part of the Garland Group, a shipping, logistics and transportation holding company in Portugal.
