CBRE Investment Management has appointed Mariana Barrientos as a director in its European private infrastructure markets team. Mariana will focus on sourcing, executing and asset managing investments as part of the private infrastructure investment team in London. She will take a lead role in global investments, managing relationships with infrastructure partners and client service.
Mariana brings more than 10 years of experience in real assets, most recently at Citibank, where she has been vice president in its power, utilities and renewables investment banking division since 2019. She joined Citibank in 2013 before being promoted to associate in 2015. During her career, she has overseen approximately €20 billion ($22 billion) of assets across more than 20 transactions in 15 countries.
