Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) has hired Jodie Parmar as senior director of project development for Western Canada.
Parmar formerly worked as an independent consultant/adviser of strategic finance and projects for 11 years and serviced a variety of clients, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, a sovereign wealth fund considering the purchase of Scotia Plaza and Deloitte Canada Real Estate, according to his LinkedIn page.
He also provided consultant services for a joint venture between a Canadian diversified mining company and sovereign wealth fund, a $350 million private equity fund focused on green energy projects in Ontario and British Columbia, and a geothermal start-up focused on implementing a design-build-finance-maintain business model.
With experience in public policy, capital planning, infrastructure/project and public finance, portfolio management, and strategy, Parmar led the development of a variety of “complex and transformational projects”, incl
