Brookfield invests $110m in Associated Danish Ports

by Kali Persall

Brookfield Asset Management has invested DKK 700 million ($110 million) in Associated Danish Ports (ADP) through a combination of equity and loan financing, according to a statement from DLA Piper, which advised ADP on all legal aspects of the transaction.

ADP, the largest port company in Southern Denmark, owns and operates the Port of Fredericia, Port of Nyborg, Taulov Dry Port and Port of Hanstholm. Strategically located, these ports serve as crucial infrastructure hubs connecting Denmark with the rest of Europe.

ADP plays a key role in Denmark’s green transition through strategic partnerships and infrastructure development.

Brookfield’s investment will accelerate the company’s goal of becoming a leading Nordic port operator. As one of the world’s largest infrastructure investors, Brookfield brings deep expertise in ports and logistics and will be a strong strategic partner in ADP’s continued growth.
