Brookfield Asset Management raises $14.3b across infrastructure and real estate strategies

Brookfield Asset Management has raised $10 billion for infrastructure, including $7.9 billion for its infrastructure flagship strategy, $900 million for its supercore infrastructure strategy, and $900 million for its infrastructure private wealth strategy. The flagship strategy is targeting its first close this year, with additional closes expected thereafter.

In addition, the firm held a first close in its artificial intelligence infrastructure strategy, bringing total commitments to date to $5 billion.

It deployed $3.3 billion, including $1.7 billion for the acquisition of a U.S. fiber-to-the-home business and a $1 billion investment for incremental funding on construction of a U.S. semiconductor fabrication facility.

In July, Brookfield Asset Management monetized a portion of its investment in a leading data center infrastructure platform through its IPO, raising more than $1 billion in proceeds.

For its energy allocation, the firm raised $2.5 billion,
