Brazilian transport agency seeks concessionaire for 22 airports

Brazilian transport agency Agência de Transporte do Estado de São Paulo (ARTESP) is seeking a concessionaire for the development, operation and maintenance of 22 airports in Sao Paulo state, according to InfraPPP. 

The project is divided into Northwest lot with 13 airports and Southeast lot with nine airports, which are currently operated and managed by Sao Paulo State Air Department. Northwest lot will require an estimated investment of $31.63 million and Southeast will require $41.64 million.

The concessionaire will be responsible for the operation and initial construction works for all the airports in one lot.
