Energias do Brasil (EDPB), a subsidiary of Energias de Portugal, has acquired a 142-kilometer (88-mile) energy transmission line in Brazil for R$407 million ($103 million) from CEE Power and Brafer.
The line also includes two power substations.
The transmission line was initially awarded in April 2016. The annual contracted gross profit is approximately R$46 million ($12 million), with an expected return on equity for the project of more than 12 percent.
The transaction is subject to approval by Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica.
