Botswana Power Corp. (BPC) has launched tenders for an RFP relating to the development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a 100-megawatt solar PV project at Jwaneng, a town located in the southern district of Botswana in Africa.
This tender is open to both citizen-owned companies and noncitizen-owned companies. Noncitizen-owned companies that wish to participate in this tender are required to subcontract at least 40 percent of the value of the contract to 100 percent citizen-owned companies.
The deadline for tender submissions is September 1.
