by Kali Persall

The University of Manchester has selected Bruntwood SciTech, a 50–50 joint venture between Bruntwood and Legal & General, as the preferred bidder of a £1.5 billion ($2.12 billion) campus public-private partnership (P3) project in the United Kingdom, according to InfraPPP.

The University and Bruntwood SciTech will now form a new joint venture to carry out the project.

The development of ID Manchester will provide more than 4 million square feet, including 2.6 million square feet of new commercial workspace once complete.

The area benefits from existing green space and the historic Grade II listed Sackville Street Building, which is occupied by The University of Manchester.
