Julius Bedford and Ryan Lemoine were promoted to principal, Michael Bernhard was promoted to vice president, and Michael Beutner and Matthew Kowalczyk were promoted to senior associate. The five are involved in all areas of the firm's investment activities

Before joining Bernhard Capital, Bernhard served as the deputy director of software development at a large energy-as-a-service solutions company, where he established an in-house software engineering team and led the development of monitoring and machine-learning applications for energy-efficiency projects. Bernhard previously served on the Biden presidential campaign's software engineering team.
