BayWa r.e. has acquired the 50-megawatt High Constellation Wind Farm project in Scotland from Blue Energy for an undisclosed amount.
The proposed 10-turbine wind farm is located on the Kintyre peninsula in Scotland. Following the transaction, Blue Energy will support BayWa r.e. in the development process and ensure an effective handover of the project.

U.K. Ltd. “Blue Energy has been fantastic to work with, and with them, we are perfectly positioned to take the project into the next development phase.”
This is the first partnership between Blue Energy and BayWa r.e.; however, the companies are currently exploring possibilities for future collaboration on other large-scale wind farms in Scotland said Simon Foy, commercial director at Blue Energy.
