Barings hires former BlackRock head as managing director, infrastructure equity

Tim Vincent has joined Barings as managing director, infrastructure equity, where he will be responsible for sourcing and executing transactions across sectors such as transportation, power and energy, and digital infrastructure.

Based in New York and reporting to David Mihalick, co-head of global investments, Vincent will leverage his more than 25 years of industry experience to expand and enhance Barings’ global infrastructure platform, which spans both debt and equity strategies.

Vincent has worked in infrastructure and real assets investment since 1996. He served as global head of financing and co-invest at BlackRock prior to joining Barings. He also held senior roles focused on infrastructure investing at First Reserve, Greentech Capital Advisors, Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.

Vincent holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
