Aviva Investors has provided an additional £100 million ($131 million) of funding to help County Broadband expand its fiber-to-the-premises network to rural areas in England.
This follows an earlier initial £46 million ($60 million) investment from Aviva in 2018.
Country Broadband, which currently supplies more than 150 villages across Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, is aiming to extend its reach to connect half a million homes and businesses by the end of 2027.
