Avantus has sold the 147-megawatt Galloway 2 Solar Project in Central Texas to Allianz Capital Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Galloway 2 is Avantus’ third greenfield-developed project to reach construction in Texas, where the company already has brought 600 megawatts of solar energy online. After the transaction, Avantus retains a minority stake in Galloway 2 and will continue to oversee procurement, construction and asset management for the project.
