Australian Retirement Trust hires a head of investment resilience and planning

The Australian Retirement Trust (ART), with more than $260 billion of assets under management, has appointed Jody Fitzgerald as the head of investment resilience and planning.

The recently created role is tasked with ensuring that ART’s investment portfolios and capabilities are consistently and effectively navigating and adapting to diverse investment landscapes so that optimal returns can be generated across market cycles.

Prior to the appointment, Fitzgerald was the head of institutional portfolio management and solutions at Morningstar Investment Management. Previous to that, Fitzgerald was the head of investment strategy at Australian Unity from 2012 to 2018. She was the head of investment product and research at UBS Wealth Management from 2010 to 2012 and was an investment strategist at Deutsche Asset Management from 2007 to 2010.
