atNorth to deliver heat-recycling data center in greater Helsinki

atNorth, a pan-Nordic data center services company, has agreed to acquire an additional site in Finland for conversion to a state-of-the-art data center. The seller was Tallberg Group, a real estate firm active in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The site is located in Sinimäentie, Espoo (greater Helsinki), and will utilize heat reuse systems to ensure that residual heat generated by the data center will be recycled to heat local housing. This aligns with atNorth’s continued contribution to circular economy principles in the data center industry.

The site will have an initial IT capacity of 15 megawatts and is expected to come online by the third quarter 2024.
