The $3.1 billion Arlington County (Va.) Employees Retirement System has slated $10 million for Vision Ridge Sustainable Asset Fund Annex Fund, an infrastructure fund managed by Vision Ridge Partners.

Vision Ridge invests across the energy, transport and agriculture sectors through its sustainable real-assets strategy.

The firm’s recent Sustainable Asset Fund III closed in 2021 and has $1.25 billion in committed capital, according to the firm’s website.

In other news, the Arlington County Board recently approved a $3.9 billion 10-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) that focuses on storm-water management and flood response, climate and environmental programs, parks, transportation and community infrastructure over the next decade.

According to Arlington, this is a return to the first 10-year capital plan since fiscal year 2019.  It follows a series of short-term CIPs adopted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
